Here at Little Twinkles we aim to teach you and your baby "everyday" signs to help your communication. In our classes we offer this in a relaxed environment for both parents and babies. All our signs are using British Sign Language, with some signs being simplified for babies. We incorporate our signs into fun songs (well known children's songs and nursery rhymes) as this enables the learning process to be really fun so the babies don't feel they are "at class". When teaching baby signing it is really important to stay consistent with your signs. When a baby first signs, their signs may look different, but the baby believes they are signing the same as you. You need to stay consistent so not to confuse the baby. |
