Our classes are aimed at babies 0-2 years and we feel the classes offer something different depending on their age, therefore keeping them entertained for longer. From birth -> Sensory play is really beneficial, helping them feel different textures and focus on colours, light, etc. At this age mums can get a head start on learning everyday signs to use later on. 6-8 months -> Once able to sit unaided, babies become a lot more receptive to language. This is when to start using the signs in everyday life. Some babies sign for the first time around 6-8 months. At this age they will also be able to reach for the sensory items for themselves and really benefit from the treasure basket. 12 months -> Once a baby reaches the 12 month mark you will notice they are really starting to 'babble' away and start talking. Along with this some babies will be using a new sign on a weekly basis, and in time will be saying the word at the same time. |
